Introduction to Schools

The Summer Schools is one of the dissemination/training activities of STREAM where the exchange of knowledge and the awareness on EU water research and technology state of the art will be stimulated among your researchers from universities, research institutes and SMEs.

The Summer schools are held twice during the project:

The Summer Schools are organised as short courses of 1 full week (five working days-excluding travels) for up to 25 participants per week, with a total of up to 50 participants, from different European countries selected from all the requests received during the Application Campaign. All the participants have the possibility to interact and share experiences and activities with high level experts in the thematic.

The school include:

  • Papers/case studies presented by the participating alumni
  • Work groups and round table discussions
  • Presentation of papers by invited speakers
  • Evening sessions
  • Meetings with the representatives from the European Commission, Industry, regional Governments and international water technology experts.
  • Study visits

Who shall attend: young European researchers (MA, PHD, and Post Doc) in water technology, or any other related research field (e.g. biology, chemistry, engineering, etc.) but also water practitioners and researchers from SME's.
